Mary A. McCay, Ph.D., Interim Dean, e-mail
Dr. McCay is the chief academic officer of the College of Humanities and Natural Sciences, responsible for overseeing all programs, faculty matters, and budgets within the college. She also works with the division of Institutional Advancement to procure resources for the funding of the college's academic mission. While her primary responsibilities concern faculty and programs, she is available to meet with students if needed.
Judith L. Hunt, Ph.D., Interim Associate Dean, e-mail
Dr. Hunt's duties revolve primarily around planning and assessment of academic programs in the college. She performs numerous other duties as assigned by the dean. She works closely with the dean in developing initiatives to enhance student learning.
Lynda Favret, Executive Assistant to the Dean, e-mail
Mrs. Favret is the assistant to the dean. She works closely with the dean, managing schedules, attending meetings, acting a liaison between the dean and faculty of the college, and overseeing the details of the office. She won the Coadjutor Optimus Award in 1998 and 2005. Mrs. Favret has worked at Loyola for fifteen years.
Richard Wilson, Senior Academic Counselor, e-mail
Mr. Wilson is the senior academic adviser of the college; working closely with the associate deans, he is responsible for monitoring student progress and answering questions about program requirements. He serves as a liaison between the college and admissions and student records offices to ensure that grades and credits are properly reflected on student records. He also audits the transcripts of graduating seniors to ensure that all requirements are met.
Katharine McNair, Academic Counselor, e-mail
Ms. McNair works closely with the associate dean and senior academic counselor. She monitors all freshmen and general studies student in the college. In addition, she cooridantes special events.
