Dr. Lewis receives 2009 HUNs Teaching Award
Dr. Lawrence Lewis of the Psychology department received the 2009 Excellence in Teaching Award. The award is given by the College of Humanities and Natural Sciences. The award is given to a person recognized as having achieved a high standard of excellence in the classroom.
Russell receives 2009 Marquette Faculty Fellowship
Emily Russell, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, was awarded a Marquette Faculty Fellowship for the summer of 2009. The Marquette Fellowship supports faculty members for their full-time work on scholarly projects.
American Psychological Association elects Loyola professor
Dr. Janet R. Matthews, professor of psychology in the College of Humanities and Natural Sciences, was recently elected as president-elect of Division 31 of the American Psychological Association.
Psychology professor publishes books and serves as journal editor
Glenn Hymel, Ed.D, L.M.T., has recently published two textbooks, “Research Methods for Massage and Holistic Therapies” and “Clinical Massage in the Healthcare Setting,” published by Elsevier/Mosby Publishing.
