Dr. Karen M. Rodrigue a 1996 Loyola University Psychology alumna, was selected to receive the K99/R00 Pathway to Independence Award. The five-year, two-phase grant totals just under $1 million. It comes from the National Institute on Aging.
Stacy Horn Koch, A'88, lives in New Orleans and is the mother of two boys. She is the executive director of Covenant House New Orleans, was recently voted one of the five finalists in an NBC special, "America's Favorite Mom."
Dr. Michele Neumann Carroll completed a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Loyola University in 1992. After living in Mississippi, Dr. Neumann returned to New Orleans where she functions as the Suicide Prevention Coordinator at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System.
Alison Cernich, Ph.D., graduated from Loyola in 1997. She is currently the Director of Neuropsychology at the VA Maryland Health Care System. She is also an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
Darryl J. Mayeaux, Ph.D., received his B.A. from Loyola in 1988 and his PhD from the University of California, Davis in 1996. He is currently an associate professor at St. Bonaventure University.
