Physics junior Warner Sevin conducted research in ion channel biophysics this summer. Working with Prof. Armin Kargol, Warner analyzed experimental data from electrophysiology experiments, attempting to identify the phenomenon of kinetic focusing of ion channels. He also did modeling studies of various Markov models of ion channel gating kinetics. This research was funded by a grant from Research Corporation.
