Short Bio
Dr. Corbin received a Ph.D. in mathematics from Tulane University in the spring of 2011 and joined the Loyola faculty as Director of the Mathematics Center the following fall. His research interests lie in algebraic and geometric topology; specifically surgery theory, transformation groups and the classification of high dimensional manifolds. Recently, he has become interested in the new field of applied algebraic topology.
