Sigma Tau Delta

Sigma Tau Delta is the International English Honor Society. There are over four hundred society chapters at colleges and universities in America and abroad. Loyola's chapter, Omega Upsilon, was founded in 1986 and has since then conferred membership on students whose academic work is meritorious. The chapter has also sponsored numerous literary events, including theatre trips, discussion panels, faculty presentations, and fund raisers. In 1992-93, the chapter hosted the national Sigma Tau Delta convention and was named Outstanding Chapter for that year.
