Short Bio
Jennifer Jeanfreau was born and raised in New Orleans. She earned a B.A. in English from Louisiana State University, a B.A. in art history from the University of Texas, and an M.A. from the University of New Orleans. She also received a less formal education from previous employment as a bartender, college recruiter, pre-school teacher, and summer camp coordinator. Her primary teaching interests are in first year writing and literature, Southern American literature, and African-American literature.
