Programs of Study
The Department of Chemistry offers three programs of study leading to a bachelor of science degree. Contact the Chemistry Department for more information about each of these programs.
- Chemistry - This pre-professional program, accredited by the American Chemical Society, is designed to train students for a career in chemistry and for post-graduate degrees in chemistry.
- Biochemistry - The pre-med program prepares students for post-graduate study in the medical sciences.

Forensic Chemistry - This forensics chemistry program prepares students for a career in the forensic sciences.
Degree Program Course List
Each program of study has different course requirements for graduation, listed below. Chemistry majors are encouraged to meet with their academic advisors regarding course selections, research and internship opportunities, and graduation requirements.
