Biology Elective Course

Course Description:

Virology will cover cell and molecular biology of animal virology in detail. Topics
to be addressed include virus structure, replication, pathogenesis, taxonomy, viral
transformation, and cancer with specific virus families explored in depth. Some epidemiology, including recent research of specific viruses in the news, will be explored.. Prerequisites: Completion of Biology Core Courses.
