This course is an introduction to physical, chemical, geological, and biological processes in the oceans and coastal environments and their interaction. Interrelationships of man and the marine environment. Five-week summer course at LUMCON in Cocodrie, La. Prerequisites: Completion of Biology Core Courses.

4 credits, lecture and lab (field).
