Biology Elective Course

Course Description:

This is an advanced course dealing with methods of measuring and expressing the genetic variation within and among natural populations. The course focuses on the Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium and how various factors modify it including selection, inbreeding, genetic drift, migration, and mutation. Prerequisites: Completion of Biology Core Courses.
