Clubs + Organizations

Get Involved

Students participate in clubs and organizations in order to interact with colleagues and peers who share their interests in academic, social, and cultural endeavors. These clubs and organizations provide unique and structured opportunities to help others through volunteer work. Below are a few clubs and organizations that are directly or indirectly related to Biological Sciences.

Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society (BBB)

Beta Beta Beta (TriBeta) is a society for students, particularly undergraduates, dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of biological study and extending boundaries of human knowledge through scientific research. The Eta Lambda chapter of BBB at Loyola was started in 1956. Contact the organization's president Ha Nguyen to find out more.

Loyola University Health Professions Organization (LUHPO)

The Mission of LUHPO is to help students gain in depth understanding of the many types of health careers that are currently available. We seek to help students achieve the standard of academic performance that will make them competitive for admission to graduate programs in health professions. The HPO invites student members of all science student organizations at Loyola to join them in this work. Contact the president Julio Vega to find out more about the HPO.
