- Anthony J. Stanonis, '97, has taught at Loyola University New Orleans, Tulane University, the University of South Carolina, and Texas A&M University. He joined the faculty of Queen's University Belfast in 2007. Stanonis is
a Lecturer in Modern US History at Queen's University in Belfast.
- Dr. Gregory R. Choppin, ’49, discoverer of Element Md 101-Mendelevium,
recipient of the 1997 Chemical Power Award given by the American
Institute of Chemists, chemistry professor at Florida State University.
