Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society (BBB)

Beta Beta Beta (TriBeta) is a society for students, particularly undergraduates, dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of biological study and extending boundaries of human knowledge through scientific research. The Eta Lambda chapter of BBB at Loyola was started in 1956.


Medical Mission Aid Society (MMAIDS)

The Medical Mission Aid Society seeks to provide students with integrated and contemporary opportunities to experience and serve in the medical field. Through these opportunities, it strives to educate students of the realities, hardships, and humane rewards of the medical
field. This society strongly encourages students to work outside of the regular hospital volunteer settings and looks to help those who may be hidden from mainstream medical
help.

Minority Association of Pre-Health Students (MAPS)

Minority Association of Pre-Health Students (MAPS) strives to provide the skills, knowledge, and experience to underrepresented pre-health students who have aspirations of entiering health fields. MAPS is dedicated to the academic success of pre-health students and in educating people of the importance of health matters, ensuring cultural sensistivity to the needs of a diverse population, serving the health needs of underrepresented cummunities, and assisting students in preparing to enroll into thsie medical or health-related professional school.

Loyola University Health Professions Organization (LUHPO)

The Mission of LUHPO is to help students gain in depth understanding of the many types of health careers that are currently available. We seek to help students achive the standard of academic performance that will make them competitive for admission to health professions graduate programs. The HPO invites the student members of all of the science student organizations at Loyola to join it in helpling it succeed in this work.
